Having left Oxford University with a degree in Mathematics, Nigel started his career in advertising in 1984 at BMP DDB, where he rose to become Head of Planning in 1990. During Nigel’s nine years as Head of Planning, the agency won four times as many Effectiveness Awards as any other UK agency. In 1999, he co-founded integrated agency Jones Mason Barton Antenen, merging later to become Claydon Heeley Jones Mason, where he was Chief Executive until 2006. He then became CEO of ad agency FCB, overseeing its subsequent merger with Draft. Nigel joined Publicis in late 2008 as Chairman and CEO of Publicis Group UK. He is also a member of the Publicis Worldwide Executive Committee and a Fellow of the IPA.

Mike has been CEO of Publicis Chemistry since June 2012. He studied French at Goldsmiths’ College before taking his first direct marketing agency job in 1989. Since then he has worked at some of the country’s most well-known shops including GGT Direct, Lowe Direct and EHS Brann. In 2002 he joined Claydon Heeley Jones Mason to run the Guardian and Observer business. Over the next three years his work help turned the agency into the most creative hot-shop in the country and as a result was promoted to MD. He joined Craik Jones Watson Mitchell Voelkel as CEO in May 2008, before taking the same role at Publicis Dialog five months later.

David joined Publicis as an Executive Creative Director in 2007 and became ECD of Publicis Chemistry in May 2011. Prior to joining Publicis, David spent five years as Creative Director at Rapier, where he helped the agency become Campaign’s Direct Agency Of The Year two years running. Previously he was a creative partner of Circus, the brand consultancy and before that a senior writer at Bates Dorland.

David’s work has been recognised at awards schemes all over the world. Last year, he won a Gold at Campaign Big and a silver nomination at D&AD for his work on the Army Start Thinking Soldier Campaign.

Darren joined Publicis in 2010 as Finance Director of Publicis Modem. He moved to the same role at Publicis Chemistry following the acquisition of Chemistry Communications and was part of the core team who oversaw the integration of Chemistry into the Publicis Group. He was promoted to COO in June 2012. Previously, he spent 15 years with Twentieth Century Fox Film Company, where he rose from Company Accountant to Finance Director at the film company, with complete responsibility for all financial management of the UK operation.

Patrick has been CMO of Publicis Group UK since 2011. In that role he works across Publicis Chemistry and its sister agencies at Baker Street. Previously Patrick ran Publicis-owned Notorious as CEO and prior to that he has been a Director of Publicis Dialog Worldwide, Bates Europe Client Director and CEO of Cordiant Group agencies in Russia. He also set up Saatchi & Saatchi Strategy and the digital network X/M. He has worked across all aspects of marketing communications, including working directly on many client accounts such as Allied Domecq, Barratt Homes and BA.

Liz has been Head of Client Services since June 2012. She joined the agency in 2003 and has since worked on accounts including Everything Everywhere (Orange, T-Mobile), Microsoft and Transport for London (TfL). Liz is experienced in delivering multi-media campaigns, with specialised knowledge in partnership marketing, experiential, digital, advertising and retail.  She has worked with blue chip brands including Oracle EMEA, Compaq, Toyota UK and Ford Dealers during her career, with stints in senior account management at Grey London, Claydon Heeley Jones Mason and Ogilvy&Mather.

Rob oversees the digital creative output across all of Publicis Chemistry’s clients and has worked with brands and companies as diverse as Aviva, Diageo, Dove, SCA Hygiene and Tesco. He joined the agency in 2007 as a Senior Creative, before being promoted the following year. Prior to Chemistry, he worked at Publicis Dialog, as a Senior Art Director. Rob graduated from Chelsea College of Art & Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Painting.

Gerry, an ex-professional rugby player, began his career in sports marketing, working with the LTA, Wilson Golf & Tennis and adidas. A move to 141 Worldwide began a decade of leading global brand strategy and campaign development for Allied Domecq’s and Beam Global Spirits & Wine’s portfolio of brands. Gerry joined Publicis in 2003. His sector experience is broad, having previously worked with brands including Eurostar, Heineken, John Smith's, NIVEA, Visit Britain and Samsung.

Catherine joined Publicis as UK PR Manager in 2010, working across all the Publicis Group UK agencies. Previously, she worked as a freelance journalist and communications adviser, writing news, features and corporate communications for publications and companies in media, marketing and advertising. She spent four years at Marketing Week, where, as Features and Trends Editor, she wrote, edited and commissioned content for the title.
