Mike Welsh named Publicis Chemistry CEO
London, 21 June 2012: Publicis Group UK has named Mike Welsh as the new chief executive of leading integrated agency Publicis Chemistry. Welsh, previously Managing Partner, takes up the role with immediate effect.
Welsh joined Publicis in 2008 as Chief Executive of Publicis Dialog, from Craik Jones Watson Mitchell Voelkel, where he held the same role.
Publicis Chemistry, which launched last year from the merger of Publicis Dialog with Chemistry Communications, is now one of the largest integrated agencies in the UK, with more than 250 staff and over half of its revenues derived from digital. Over the past year it has won a string of new business including most recently the Everything Everywhere (Orange/T-Mobile) below-the-line account.
